中共中央總書記、國家主席、中央軍委主席習近平近日對全面依法治國工作作出重要指示強調，堅持黨的領導、人民當家作主、依法治國有機統一，合力開創法治中國建設新局面。
President Xi Jinping has called for upholding the unity between Party leadership, the running of the country by the people and law-based governance, and making concerted efforts to break new ground in advancing the rule of law in China. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in a recent instruction on comprehensively promoting the rule of law.

黨的十八大以來，黨中央把全面依法治國納入“四個全面”戰略布局予以有力推進，全面依法治國總體格局基本形成，中國特色社會主義法治體系不斷完善，中國特色社會主義法治道路越走越寬廣。2020年11月，黨的歷史上首次召開中央全面依法治國工作會議，將習近平法治思想明確為全面依法治國的指導思想。5年后再次召開中央全面依法治國工作會議，正逢“十四五”收官在即、“十五五”謀篇布局的關鍵時期。
習近平對全面依法治國工作作出重要指示強調，新征程上，要全面貫徹新時代中國特色社會主義法治思想，堅持黨的領導、人民當家作主、依法治國有機統一，聚焦建設更加完善的中國特色社會主義法治體系、建設更高水平的社會主義法治國家，更加注重法治與改革、發展、穩定相協同，更加注重保障和促進社會公平正義，全面推進科學立法、嚴格執法、公正司法、全民守法，全面推進國家各方面工作法治化，為以中國式現代化全面推進強國建設、民族復興偉業提供有力法治保障。

We have intensified efforts to advance socialist rule of law in our country, and a comprehensive framework for law-based governance has taken shape. We have sped up work on developing the system of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics. We have made major progress in reforming the judicial system, thus providing more effective protection for social fairness and justice. These efforts have opened new ground for advancing the rule of law in China.
我們要堅持走中國特色社會主義法治道路，建設中國特色社會主義法治體系、建設社會主義法治國家，圍繞保障和促進社會公平正義，堅持依法治國、依法執政、依法行政共同推進，堅持法治國家、法治政府、法治社會一體建設，全面推進科學立法、嚴格執法、公正司法、全民守法，全面推進國家各方面工作法治化。
We must follow a path of socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics, develop a Chinese system of socialist rule of law, and establish China as a socialist country under the rule of law. We must, with a focus on protecting and promoting social fairness and justice, pursue coordinated progress in law-based governance, law-based exercise of state power, and law-based government administration and take integrated steps to build a country, government, and society based on the rule of law. We will make all-around efforts to ensure sound legislation, strict law enforcement, impartial administration of justice, and society-wide observance of the law and see that all work of the state is carried out under the rule of law.
