近日，國家發(fā)展改革委官員解讀《國務(wù)院辦公廳關(guān)于發(fā)展銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)增進(jìn)老年人福祉的意見》，指出發(fā)展銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)是推動(dòng)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的有力舉措，銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)涉及面廣、產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈長、業(yè)態(tài)多元，涵蓋一二三產(chǎn)業(yè)，孕育著新機(jī)遇，也必將催生新領(lǐng)域和新賽道。

China has seen new growth opportunities arising from its aging populace, and its latest decision to promote the "silver economy" will significantly address the needs of the graying demographic and inject new impetus into the economy, officials said on Monday.

國家發(fā)展改革委1月22日表示，中國從老齡化人口看到了新的發(fā)展機(jī)遇，新出臺(tái)的支持“銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)”發(fā)展的文件將積極應(yīng)對老齡化人口需求，為經(jīng)濟(jì)注入新動(dòng)能。

"The development of the silver economy is a powerful measure to drive high-quality development. It involves a wide range of fields with a long industrial chain and diverse types of businesses, covering the primary, secondary and tertiary industries. It creates new business opportunities," said Zhang Shixin, deputy secretary-general of the National Development and Reform Commission.

國家發(fā)展改革委副秘書長張世昕指出：“發(fā)展銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)是推動(dòng)高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的有力舉措。銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)涉及面廣、產(chǎn)業(yè)鏈長、業(yè)態(tài)多元，涵蓋一二三產(chǎn)業(yè)，孕育著新機(jī)遇。”

Zhang said at a news conference in Beijing on Monday that the new move to boost the silver economy aims to respond to the core concerns of the elderly and boost their sense of well-being.

張世昕1月22日在北京召開的新聞發(fā)布會(huì)上稱，推動(dòng)銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展的新舉措旨在回應(yīng)老年人核心關(guān)切，提升老年人幸福感。

Liu Ming, director of the NDRC's Department of Social Development, said silver economy-related economic activities offer products and services to seniors and have huge growth potential yet to be fully tapped, especially in fields meeting the growing demographic's diversified and personalized needs.

國家發(fā)展改革委社會(huì)發(fā)展司司長劉明指出，現(xiàn)階段相關(guān)產(chǎn)業(yè)提供的產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)尚未能有效滿足老年人多元化、差異化、個(gè)性化的需求，這其中蘊(yùn)含著巨大的發(fā)展機(jī)遇。

The State Council, China's Cabinet, recently released a guideline encouraging companies and industry participants in sectors such as healthcare, tourism and financial consultancy to optimize services and products for the elderly.

近期印發(fā)的《國務(wù)院辦公廳關(guān)于發(fā)展銀發(fā)經(jīng)濟(jì)增進(jìn)老年人福祉的意見》（下稱《意見》）鼓勵(lì)各行各業(yè)參與到醫(yī)療保健、銀發(fā)旅游、養(yǎng)老金融等領(lǐng)域，優(yōu)化老年人產(chǎn)品和服務(wù)供給。

Citing measures mapped out by the new document, Liu said it will help boost the development of related industries and better tap into the specific needs of the elderly.

劉明指出，《意見》作出的部署安排將有助于推動(dòng)相關(guān)產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展，更好地挖掘老年人的特殊需求。

With a population of 1.41 billion, the nation is facing an increasingly serious aging issue. As of the end of 2022, China had more than 280 million people aged above 60, roughly 20 percent of the total population, according to the country's annual statistical communique regarding 2022 national economic and social development.

總?cè)丝?4.1億的中國正面臨日益嚴(yán)重的老齡化問題。2022年國民經(jīng)濟(jì)和社會(huì)發(fā)展統(tǒng)計(jì)公報(bào)顯示，截至2022年底，我國60歲及以上老年人口數(shù)量超過了2.8億，占比近20%。

He Yaqiong, head of the consumer products industry department at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, highlighted the importance of closing the elderly digital divide, saying it will accelerate efforts to boost the development of the smart eldercare sector.

工業(yè)和信息化部消費(fèi)品工業(yè)司司長何亞瓊指出了彌合老年人“數(shù)字鴻溝”的重要性，表示將加快培育壯大智慧養(yǎng)老產(chǎn)業(yè)。

The focus will be placed on fields including the internet plus healthcare, smart nursing homes and intelligent communities, he said.

何亞瓊表示，工業(yè)和信息化部將重點(diǎn)發(fā)展互聯(lián)網(wǎng)+醫(yī)療健康、智慧養(yǎng)老院、智慧社區(qū)等領(lǐng)域。
